Every client will be required to complete a registration form on or before their first visit. It is vital for us to ensure that the information provided is correct and regularly updated with everything we need to know about your dog’s health and behaviour. It is the owner’s sole responsibility to advise us of any changes at future appointments.

On signing this form, you will be agreeing to the terms & conditions set out on this page.

We will not share your details with any other organisations, however, we may add you to our mailing list, to keep you informed via phone, text, email or post with useful news, offers and service updates. You must let us know if you do not wish to be added to our mailing list.

We regularly photograph or video our groomed dogs for use on our website and social media pages. You must let us know if you do not wish for us to use images of your dog to promote our services. 

 

YOUR DOGS HEALTH

Wiggle-Butts are fully trained and qualified in first-aid, however it is important that at the time of your appointment you assess your dogs health before bringing him or her along to Wiggle-Butts. Providing your dogs illness is not likely to affect or contaminate other dogs, we are happy to continue grooming them, however this is done so entirely at your risk.  Grooming may expose underlying skin or health problems for which we cannot be held liable for.

Please ensure all vaccinations are up to date before booking your appointment with us.

Elderly dogs will be accepted for grooming at Wiggle-Butts, however this is done so entirely at your risk. 

All dogs must be adequately toileted prior to their grooming appointment.

If a dog becomes seriously ill whilst in our care we may call an emergency vet and unless it can be clearly shown that Wiggle-Butts are liable, all vet costs incurred shall be at the owners expense.

We may refuse to groom a dog that presents a risk of injury to either us, themselves or other dogs on the premises at the same time. The same T&C's apply to all dogs under our care at doggy daycare or for dog walking services.

 

MATTED COATS

Dogs with extremely matted coats will incur additional charges. We will discuss these with you prior to the groom. 

If we believe that de-matting a dog will cause too much stress and discomfort we will recommend that your dog receives a complete shave off according to the Animal Welfare Act. This will of course dramatically change your dog’s appearance and you should be aware that irritation may occur from the shaving process. It is also possible the dog’s skin may get caught due to the close proximity of the blades that will be used.

Wiggle-Butts shall not be held liable for any effects of de-matting and the clipping procedures or problems uncovered on a badly matted and/or neglected coat. The owner will be required to pay all costs whether or not the groomer is able to complete the job due to any unforeseen issues arising during this process.

To avoid this distressing experience for your dog, it is advised to ensure you book regular grooms for your dog.

 

Additional fees

Cancellation fee's and no shows:

LESS THAN 24 HOURS NOTICE – 50% of grooming cost, walk or daycare charges

NO-SHOWS WITHOUT CONTACTING US – 100% of grooming cost, walk or daycare charges

If you demonstrate more than 2 occasions of no show or late cancellations within a 6 month period, you will be required to pre-pay for your appointments and bookings with Wiggle-Butts.
